Hi everyone,
My name is Aisling Brennan. I’m a registered Nutritional Therapist with NTOI in Ardrahan County Galway and owner of Aisling Brennan Wellness. I’ve spent the last four years studying and learning my trade.
I’m delighted that it’s International Menstrual Cycle Health Day because self-knowledge also means body literacy, and I’m passionate about helping children, athletes, and females with their periods. My job is to help you determine what to eat, make lifestyle changes, provide supplement recommendations, test, and explain why.
I’m excited because in my nutritional therapy clinic, which will be launched this Autumn, one of the things I’m supporting is menstrual cycle health concerns (e.g. irregular/missed/irritability around periods, bloating or water retention around periods, painful periods, fibroids, endometriosis, PCOS, irregular bowel movements).
Here’s one practical and useful tip and technique that you can use in your everyday life to support your menstrual cycle month by month: increasing your iron intake through plants such as kidney beans (serving size 1 cup/iron content 3.1mg) and green lentils (serving size 1 cup/iron content 3.0mg).
There are several ways to contact me, depending on how much support you would like.
A discovery call via phone, Teams, or WhatsApp is free, 15 minutes long, and without obligation. It is to determine whether nutritional therapy suits you and your health concerns.
You can book a discovery call, and let’s chat about your health concerns/goals, and get a 10% discount off an initial consultation when you book.
Call me on 087 - 2337579 or Email me at info@aislingbrennanwellness.com
Seeing the progress a client can make through nourishing foods and nurturing behaviours is powerful, especially concerning menstrual cycle health.
I also support complex conditions, illnesses, diseases, and general health concerns.
I am a member of Athletics Ireland and the Camogie Association.
I will always keep my Rapid7, NetFort User and Network Activity Monitoring, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Gran Grans Foods, and Open Sesame Healthfoods colleagues close to my heart. Although I left my career in Tech and Retail, I carried this background and unique perspective to follow my passion for nutrition and health science, enabling individuals to optimise their health potential.
Before my clinic launches in Autumn, I will keep you in the loop by telling you how I can help you and how you can interact with me if you’re interested.
Thank you for reading, and take good care.
